Louise & Eric, Wedding Photos Glenskirlie Castle

Louise & Eric had a beautiful day for their wedding at the fantastic Glenskirlie Castle.
I really felt at home with such great families to work with.
The day started off very relaxed at Louise's parents house and that set the theme for the day. A very beautiful ceremony in the Castle and then we had fun doing a full group shot outside the castle.
The family formals were followed by some beautiful portraits of Louise and Eric around the grounds of Glenskirlie.
The speechies were all very impressive and the guys did a great job. We managed to get some lovely romantic portraits after dinner.

Jennifer & Morgan Engagement Shoot

On their recent trip back to Scotland I managed to get time with Jennifer and Morgan to do their engagement shoot. I was great to spend some time with this lovely couple and get to know each other better. We came away with some beautiful portraits of them both.
Over a coffee we discussed some of there hopes and dreams for their wedding day and their photography.
Its going to be a good one!!!!

Tim & Fiona, Photo Shoot Kelvingrove

I first met Tim and Fiona last year when Fiona was a bridesmaid at a wedding I shot at Roman Camp Hotel. These guys are a truly lovely couple. Well it will soon be their big day at Glenbervie House.

We headed out to Kelvingrove for their engagement shoot and had a lovely morning wondering around the grounds of the museum and finished inside with a coffee :)

Amazed by the Past

With it being Blair's birthday tomorrow we naturally have also been thinking about his future. Several conversations have revolved around the pace of technology and as to wither Blair in the future will be amazed by new technologies the way we were. To us advances like colour television, mobile phones, space travel, wifi....the list could go on and on.... were all just so amazing.

But as every day brings a new leap forward will it ever be jaw dropping for the new generation.

Then today, hearing about the discovery of a new dinosaur, it hit me.

Its the PAST. That's what Blair is going to find amazing.

Dream Theater, SECC

Many of you know that my great friend Samantha's brother Mike Portnoy is the drummer with Dream Theater. So when they are in town I get some tickets and backstage passes to go catch up with him.
They were playing at the SECC on Sunday and we had a great time. Amazing musician!!!!! Full stop. Nothing more to say.
Thanks Mike for the invite and taking the time to come hang out afterwards.
