A future Bride of mine Rebecca Mcquillan is a very talented actress and has a new performance on at the Edinburgh Frestival.

The play previously received great reviews at the Citizens in Glasgow. If anyone is looking for a good play to check out at the Festival then have a look at the trailer below.

Deborah & Scott, Buchanan Arms Drymen

Deb gets her "train guy".
That should be the title of this post. These two fell in love across a train platform on their daily commute to work :) Fate played its part when by chance they met at a mutual friends party. How cool is that!!!

What's even cooler is that they are one of the happiest couples I have ever met! Period.

We had the best time shooting their wedding, apart from a little sunburn. It was a scorcher!!!! Deb and Scott just were amazingly happy all day. You can just tell these guys were meant to be together. Deb had put a lot of effort into planning the wedding and the venue look stunning. I love outdoor weddings. As I have said before it is always a brave move in Scotland to have it outdoors but it was glorious.

Lorna & Chris, Balloch Park Engagement Shoot

Spent a lovely afternoon recently at Balloch Park shooting with Lorna & Chris. They are getting married in Alexandria then across Loch Lomond to The Cruin.
Lorna & Chris were quite apprehensive about getting their photos done so the engagement shoot has been a big benefit to us all.
Hopefully they will know be a lot more relaxed on the big day.
As you can see we got some lovely photos.

My buddy and fellow photographer Bryan Connor invited me and the family to visit him at his caravan in Ayrshire on Tuesday.
We had a blast. When I say Caravan I mean....king size beds ,fully fitted kitchen, central heating, en suite type caravan.
Highlight was the late evening Kite flying.

Worldwide Photo Walk Day

Saturday was World Wide Photowalk day. I was joined by 26 other photographers for a walk around Stirling. As a social event the photographs where not as important as the 'crack'. It was great fun getting to meet new photographers and hanging out with some I already knew. Many of us are still trying to recover from the 'BadBoy Burger' at the City Walls pub :)

As a little surprise I arranged a visit from 'Sir Neil Campbell'. He gave us a little talk about his time at Bannockburn and an insight into his regalia.

Some other images from the day.

Joanne & John, Glenskirlie Castle

Yet again it was fantastic to be part of an 'Anderson' wedding. It was only six months between Joanne's wedding and her sister Laura's. You can chack out Laura and Harry's previous blog post.
This was the third family members wedding I have shot in the last few years. I have made some very nice friends and they have all made me so welcome at their weddings.
Joanne and John had a beautifully sunny day for their wedding. In fact all my clients this summer have been striking it lucky with the weather. It does make life a lot easier and more fun when we have a good summer. However this last couple months have been exhausting in the heat.
Glenskirlie Castle as always was outstanding. Everyone at the wedding really made the most of the weather and the lovely atmosphere. Good Venue, Good food, Good Weather, Good Clients = happy photographer.
So Andersons who's next?????
