Janey and Neil

The wonderful Janey and Neil Lennon were married on the 23rd of November at Sherbrooke Castle . We were blessed with yet another beautiful day so late in the year. The very low sunset made for some great lighting just after the ceromony.

This was my last wedding of the year and what a great way to finish off my weddings for 2007. Janey and Neil are such fun. It was a blast from start to finish. We had an amazing shoot running up and down the road outside the castle grounds. Thanks to all the drivers who either stopped to let us take photographs or who gave us a toot and a wave as they squeezed by.

Special note has to go to Joanne, who was Bridesmaid and Bestman for the day. She delivered one of the funniest and most heart felt speeches I have heard.

Jill & Brian's Wedding

The 5th of October saw the wedding of our dear friends Jill and Brian at The Glenskirlie House. It may have been October but the weather was stunning. Probably the only nice day of the week and it was a beauty.

What a great day and what a very special couple.

We love you and can't wait to hear all about Cuba. (ok maybe not every detail).

Dream Gig

Just a few days before Blair was born, I managed to go to the Dream Theater concert in Glasgow. My very close friend Samantha is Mike Portnoy's sister and they organised me some backstage passes.














What a great show.I was joined at the show by Gary Bonar. As well as sharing a passion for photography we both love good music.














It had been around 15 years since I last met Mike so it was good to catch up with him and a the rest of the band after the show.

Back to the Future

So where have I been? Well I guess its time I updated you on whats been happening.

These next few posts are a bit out of sequence due to my blog being neglected a bit while finding our feet as parents :)

As you know from my last post, little Blair is the center of our universe. He is a dream. Both Heather and Blair are continuing to do great.

Blair

On Monday 15th Oct, Heather and I had a beautiful baby boy called Blair.

He was 9 days early and caught his mummy and daddy by surprise! Blair was born at Stirling Royal Infirmary at 15:58 and weighed in at 6lb 8.5oz. Both Heather and Blair are doing great. He is getting use to the constant sound of my camera shutter and is begining to pull that 'not another photo' face.

It is obvious to those of you who have been in my company these last 11 days that I am on 'cloud 9'. I am so happy and just loving being a Dad. It is hard work, already, but so worth it.

Thank you for all your best wishes for Blair, Heather and I and for all the wonderful presents cards and gifts.

Karen & Barry 9/09/07

Here are a few shots of the wedding of Karen & Barry Gunn. Barry did look amazing in his Buddhist robes but not nearly as much as Karen did in her stunning dress.

We had a great day at Glenskirlie House and the weather was very kind. These two are a very special couple. Can't wait for them to get back from a nice three week honeymoon to Thailand to show them there photographs.

Scotland 1 France didn't

We watched the football with a group of friends at big steves house tonight. This was by far the best football game in Scotland's history. I had to take a quick picture of the score line before France scored.




But they didn't......:)

What a victory and what a goal......and we are top of our group. Could not have been better.

I seem to have had a golf theme this year. With this being the second wedding during a major golf tournament at the venue. They got married at the splendid MacDonald Cardrona Golf and Country Club.
