He was 9 days early and caught his mummy and daddy by surprise! Blair was born at Stirling Royal Infirmary at 15:58 and weighed in at 6lb 8.5oz. Both Heather and Blair are doing great. He is getting use to the constant sound of my camera shutter and is begining to pull that 'not another photo' face.
It is obvious to those of you who have been in my company these last 11 days that I am on 'cloud 9'. I am so happy and just loving being a Dad. It is hard work, already, but so worth it.
Thank you for all your best wishes for Blair, Heather and I and for all the wonderful presents cards and gifts.

I have been watching here every day to see some photos of this little guy. He is absolutely beautiful and it is very understandable why you would be on cloud 9. I can't wait to see him in the flesh so to speak and hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. I think he looks a wee bit like his Mom for now but no doubt that like every other thing he does will change by the day.
