Suzanne & Matthew Wedding Photography at Glenskirlie House & Castle

Wondeful, Wonderful, Wonderful day at the Glenskirlie Castle! Suzanne and Matthew had such beautiful weather for their very special day.

The girls all got ready in the amazing honeymoon suite at the Castle. It was a very emotional morning. Suzanne and her dad were barely able to look at each other without bursting into tear. So dad was banished to do some chores while the final perperations were made. When Suzanne was ready and Dad came back into the room, to see his wee girl in her wedding dress, the flood gates opened. I have to admit to having a lump in my throat as I photographed the emotional moment.

After a lovely service at St Bridgets, Baillieston it was back to the Castle for some wonderful photographs with the families and friends. That was after a little interesting moment when the bridal car broke down in the roadworks on the A80 causing quite the tailback. We can laugh about it now and they did make it onto national radio as part of the traffic report.

We had a fantastic photo session getting those real iconic portraits that are going to be the real feature photos in the album.
