Louise & Eric, Engagement Shoot

Louise and Eric will be my first clients of the new Autumn season this weekend. Summer has gone but there is every chance that the weather is going to be better during the Autumn than it has been this summer.

We had a couple of goes at doing their engagement shoot this summer and got caught in the rain both times. However we did manage to drink some coffee and get to know each other and also got some cool images to boot.

Lorna & Chris, Bonhill Church & The Cruin, Loch Lomond

Firstly it was a wet wedding. Probably the wettest I have ever shot in.
It would have been so easy to let the wet weather dampen spirits but not Lorna & Chris.
After a little disappointment these guys took a deep breath and had a great day. Both families had a great time, danced all night and enjoyed every moment.

Nicole & Jamie, Glenskirlie

Back to the Glenskirlie Castle again. This time with the fun Nicole and Jamie. Boy do these guys know how to party. From the fun relaxed morning at Nicole's house through the very relaxed and beautiful ceremony and on to the swinging Ceilidh everyone just had a really great time.

Its always great to hear a client say that they would not change a thing about their wedding. The beautiful flowers were by the the superb 'De Bloemist' and the music for the Ceilidh by the one and only 'Kilter'.

Claire & Stuart, Glenskirlie

Had a wonderful day with Claire and Stuart. They traveled up from England to be on Stuart's home soil. The families had a fantastic time and the dance floor was jumping!
We had a lovely morning at the spar in the HIlton with all the ladies getting ready and a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Glenskirlie Castle.

All charged up and ready to roll for tomorrows big wedding. Tomorrow is one of the most popular days of this year to get married. My clients have had me booked for two years for this date.
Why is tomorrow so popular.
Well its 07/08/09.

I tried to convince my clients to get married at 12:34 and 56 seconds exactly. Then it would have been 123456789. But 2:00pm is fine by me :)

Last years popular date was 06/07/08.

Our Anniversary

Today is our 4th wedding Anniversary. Love you Heather and Blair. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

A future Bride of mine Rebecca Mcquillan is a very talented actress and has a new performance on at the Edinburgh Frestival.

The play previously received great reviews at the Citizens in Glasgow. If anyone is looking for a good play to check out at the Festival then have a look at the trailer below.

Deborah & Scott, Buchanan Arms Drymen

Deb gets her "train guy".
That should be the title of this post. These two fell in love across a train platform on their daily commute to work :) Fate played its part when by chance they met at a mutual friends party. How cool is that!!!

What's even cooler is that they are one of the happiest couples I have ever met! Period.

We had the best time shooting their wedding, apart from a little sunburn. It was a scorcher!!!! Deb and Scott just were amazingly happy all day. You can just tell these guys were meant to be together. Deb had put a lot of effort into planning the wedding and the venue look stunning. I love outdoor weddings. As I have said before it is always a brave move in Scotland to have it outdoors but it was glorious.
